RABBS face Gladewater in play-off game

Atlanta has made the playoffs consecutively in each of Head Coach Matt McClure’s three years at the helm of the ‘Atlanta Express’.
This football season will be the second straight year that the Rabbs have advanced past the B-District round and this Friday the Rabbits will meet again Gladewater; a team they almost beat this season.
“I think we have gotten better as the year has gone on and I believe we will show up with a different team than we did the last time we met,” McClure said. “Only five Atlanta teams in history have advanced to the third round and we want to be the sixth.”
The Rabbs had to swallow a hard 46-39 loss to the Bears earlier this season, but most of that was due to a high volume of turnovers.
“We have not had but a few turnovers in our last six games and none of those were ones that hurt us,” McClure remarked. “As a team we have been playing great defense and have been doing a great job of taking care of the ball.”
The Rabbs get a second shot at Gladewater this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. from the friendly confines of Lobo Stadium in Longview.
