David Killian, 63, of Vivian, La., passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. He was born March 20, 1950, in Shreveport to Hol and Hazel Killian. He was raised in Rodessa, La., and lived in Vivian for most of his life.  He enjoyed going to car shows and chuck wagon races in Arkansas. He loved spending time with his grandkids, watermelons and Eddie Shephard BBQ.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mike Killian and Ned Killian; and a grandson, Nathan Kole. 
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Wilson Killian of Vivian; his children, Kaleb Killian and wife Kelly of Vivian, Kain Killian and wife Mollie of Vivian, Kara Killian of Vivian, Chad Hammond and wife Sherry of Golden, Texas, Jason Woodell and wife JoAnn of Harleton and Corey Hammond and wife Lindsey of Mineola; his father-in-law, Daniel Stovall of Mooringsport, La.; a brother-in-law, Rodney Stovall of Mineola; two sisters-in-law, Tina Guess of Keithville, La., and Gail Killian of Atlanta; a cousin, Nell Ford of Cordova, Tenn.; the mother of his children, Tish Killian; 11 grandchildren with another granddaughter on the way; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Potter’s House Church in Vivian officiated by the Rev. C.V. Holley and the Rev. Lynn Chiles. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Gorsulowsky Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Reid, Andy Dunlap, Kenny Guy, David Fletcher, Eddie Sheppard, Jeff Sullivan, Gene Brice, Ricky Quillen and Craig Sheppard.
