JP1 office joins in the celebration of Municipal Court Week Nov. 4-8

Judge Barbara McMillon’s Office joins municipal courts across Texas participating in Municipal Court Week, Nov. 4 – Nov. 8.
Judge McMillon’s Clerks have created a public service display in the foyer of her second floor office with information on various topics including Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, Poison Control, Texas Alcohol Beverage Control, Health Awareness and TXDot Traffic Safety material. They have also created a “Treasure Chest” of goodies for the community.
There will be a reception honoring the City of Linden Municipal Court and the signing of a local proclamation by Mayor Clarence Burns at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4 saluting their critical role in preserving public safety, protecting the quality of life in Texas communities, and deterring future criminal behavior.
