Commissioners take steps toward block grant

Cass County Commissioners approved a consulting engineer proposal to provide services for a Community Development Block Grant Project on Monday relating to county road reconstruction and drainage improvements.
Commissioners will provide labor on most of the project to fulfill their portion of the $270,000 match grant. Work on the project should begin sometime in the late spring or early summer.
