Richard L. Bobo, 75, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, in a Marshall hospital.
He was born Dec. 18, 1937, in Texarkana, Ark., to Elzer and Eleanor Bobo. He was the retired owner of Richard Bobo Trucking, was a Baptist by faith and loved fast boats and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzer and Eleanor Bobo.
He is survived by three sons, Richard Bobo and wife Lou of Cleveland, Brian Bobo of Montgomery and David Bobo of Houston; one daughter, Terri Bobo of McKinney; two brothers, Gene Bobo and wife Cindy of Atlanta and Doyce Bobo and wife Rae Nell of Highlands; one sister, Mary Lightfoot of Willis; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct.18, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
