2013 property tax statements arrive

Property owners should be receiving their 2013 tax statements in the mail this week if they haven’t already. The Cass County Tax Assessor Collector mailed out tax statements last week for all property in Cass County. The tax office collects for all the taxing entities in Cass County.
Property owners in Queen City Independent School District should be aware that their 2013 consolidated tax statement does not include property located within the Queen City School District.
Cass County Tax Assessor Collector Becky Watson said a separate statement for Queen City ISD accounts will be sent out after the school tax rate is ratified by the voters on Nov. 5.
