Freddie Allen Keener, 65, beloved father slipped away from this life Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at CHRISTUS St. Michael Medical Hospital in Texarkana with his loving daughters by his side. 
He was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Shreveport, La., to James Russell and Lucille Goldie Turner Keener. He was a retired police officer and welder. His family and friends will miss him.
His wife, Tina Marie England Keener; his parents, James Russell and Lucille Goldie Turner Keener; his beloved brother, James Russell “Buz” Keener, Jr.; and his beloved sister, Jerri Lane Keener, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his adoring daughters, Christy Kay Durmon of Bloomburg, Amy Alice Daniels and husband Brian of Longview and Robin Dawn Vaughn and husband Randall of Bivins, Frieda Shawn Shue and husband Wes of Tatum and Donna Gayle Ford of Kilgore; his brother, David Gary Keener and wife Margaret of Rodessa, La.; his sisters, Norma Jane Hancock of Atlanta, Lou Ann Moore and husband Al of Casco, Maine, and Linda Jo England of Rodessa; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Slaughter Cemetery in Rodessa under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. He will rest with his beloved wife Tina. 
In lieu of flowers, the Keener family asks that donations be made to the First Church of God, 19730 FM 1841, Atlanta, Texas 75551.
