LKISD Trustees cancel November school board election

Linden-Kildare CISD board of trustees certified the unopposed candidates for the Nov. 5 school board election.
Superintendent Dr. James Cowley said three candidates signed up for the three places on the Nov. 5 ballot. Since there are no opposed candidates, trustees agreed to certify the three unopposed candidates for Place 5, Curtis Harrison Jr.; Place 6, Robby Johnson and Place 7, Tracy Spaniol and to issue an order to cancel the Nov. 5 election.
