Hazel Lee Hinson, 84, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, in Dallas.
She was born to Buster and Willie Bertha Daniel on Sept. 24, 1928, in Linden. She worked for Southwestern Bell in Dallas until her retirement. She was a very strong and independent lady. She loved to fish, work in her yard and spend time with her family and friends. She never had children, but had numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She was always willing to help anyone who needed it. She will be missed very much. She was a Christian, loved the Lord and was blessed with a long and happy life.
The family would like to thank her neighbors Charles and Mary Cupp, who were kind enough to assist her, if needed, which allowed her to stay home in her last days.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lester J. Hinson; two brothers, Bobby Don Daniel and Roy Wayne Daniel; three sisters, Laura Jean Green, Eddie Claire Brent and Willie Lou Daniel.
She is survived by one sister, Doris Hale Lankford, and one brother, James E. Daniel, numerous nieces and nephews, and their children.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Frank Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Kildare Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Roy James Green, O. D. Green, Bobby Charles Clements, Lane Daniel, Jed Daniel and David Daniel. Honorary pallbearer will be Phillip W. Daniel.
