County approves resolution for Hazard Mitigation

Cass County Commissioners agreed to adopt a resolution during court held Sept. 9 for Cass County to participate in the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Action Plan.
The resolution authorizes the Ark-Tex Council of Government (ATCOG) to prepare the five-year update of the Cass County Mitigation Action Plan and to submit an application to FEMA for predisaster mitigation funds to prepare the plan for Cass County.
