Commissioners hear public comment on budget

Cass County Commissioners held a public hearing Monday on the proposed tax rate increase and the proposed budget for 2013-2014. 
Cass County Judge Charles McMichael announced the proposed budget is for $10,958,420.77 and commissioners are proposing a rollback tax rate of .5342410 for 2014. The adopted rate in 2013 was .503478 this is an increase of .030763 from last year.
