Clerk preserving records

The Cass County Clerk has been collecting an archive fee from the public for several years and now that money is going to preserving history.
County Clerk Jannis Mitchell said employees from US Imaging arrived Sept. 3 and began setting up to scan all of the bond books stored at the Cass County Courthouse and offsite at the Cass County Voting Building located on Rush Street.
