Eve Joslin, 58, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord, Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, in a local hospital, surrounded by family.

She was born May 15, 1955, in Atlanta, to Dr. Blocker and Edna Blakey Joslin. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She loved passing the time listening to the radio and could memorize all the lyrics to the songs she heard. She also loved horses, swimming, diving and riding motorcycles in her youth.

Her parents and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Morris Holland and Mrs. Lerina Derryberry preceded her in death.

She is survived by her brother, James Joslin and wife Kelly of Atlanta; one nephew, J. Joslin of Atlanta; caregivers, Brenda Sprayberry and LaJoyce Jones: and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the First United Methodist Church in Atlanta with Bro. Guy Williams officiating under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Parlor.
