AISD adopts budget, sets tax rate

The Atlanta ISD Board of Trustees set the 2013-2014 tax rate, adopted a 2013-2014 budget and renewed their annual Property/ Casualty Insurance Policy in regular session on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
The meeting came to order at 6 p.m., first, as an official public forum affording community members the opportunity to voice opinions or asked questions about the tax rate or budget.
