Young woman to serve mission in South Brazil

The Southern part of Brazil will soon have a Texas woman in their midst. April Franks, 20, has accepted a call to serve for 18 months as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the South Curitiba Mission.
Franks will leave September 4th for the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah and will spend a few weeks there studying the Portuguese language and culture. Her time there will also include learning how to share her beliefs of Jesus Christ and how to teach others.
