Memorial dedications are Sept. 7 for four local veterans

Four Southern Cross and memorial dedications will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Bryans Mill, and again at 2 p.m. in the Bell Cemetery, immediately west of Bryans Mill.
A Southern Cross dedication and memorial service for Pvt. John Lenard Morgan, Co. F 19th (Dawsons) Arkansas Infantry, Confederate States of America (CSA), will be held at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Bryans Mill. His great-great-grandson, Ronald Stringer, will read the biography and unveil the Confederate marker.
