William Lee Wormington, 60, of Linden died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at his home in Linden.
He was born Nov. 24, 1952, in Glendale, Ariz., to Charles William and Mary Sue Parsons Wormington.
He was a maintenance technician for Wadley Medical Center and attended First Assembly of God Church in Linden. He served in the Texas Army National Guard for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and as sister, Lelia Green.
Survivors include his children, Bradley Allen Wormington of Little Rock, Ark., and Brandy Wormington of Texarkana; his mother, Mary Wormington of Linden; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Dennis Wormington and wife April of San Antonio, Larry James Wormington and wife Maria of Melissa and Nathan Dale Wormington and wife Sandra of Linden; one sister and brother-in-law, Lana Sue Kenward and husband Sidney of Hooks; two stepbrothers, Gary Peacock and Chris Peacock; two grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry McKeller officiating. Interment will follow at Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
