County awaits completion of courthouse project

Once again Cass County commissioners held an executive session to discuss unresolved issues relating to the restored Cass County Courthouse. In the judge’s absence on Monday, court was led by Precinct 1 Commissioner Brett Fitts.
The county has been waiting several months for RBR Construction to complete the restoration of the courthouse. There have been numerous delays on the project. In June the contractor assured commissioners they would have the project completed within the required time frame.
