Woman robbed at gunpoint in Atlanta

Atlanta Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place at Kremy Donuts at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday morning (Aug. 14). 


Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Loop 59 in reference to a Robbery. A female was approached as she was getting out of a vehicle to begin work. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black ski mask. 



The male pointed a black pistol at her and then grabbed her purse that was on her shoulder. The male then fled on foot heading west. Police Chief Mike Dupree said it is possible the assailant was waiting for the robbery victim as she arrived.
