Monday, the City of Atlanta began delivery of the new 95-gallon trash receptacles. All Atlanta customers are required to use this container. The instructions will be included with the cart, along with a new pick-up schedule. There is no initial cost for the carts, but if lost or damaged, the replacement fee is $60. The new schedule begins Monday, Aug. 4. Customers currently being serviced on Monday and Thursday will be serviced on Monday. Tuesday and Friday customers will be serviced on Friday. Wednesday and Saturday pick-up is going to Wednesday.
