Bubba Kirkland, 41, of Queen City, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, in a Texarkana hospital.
He was born Nov. 3, 1971, in Naples. He was employed with ABCO Industrial Coating. He was known by many for his love of racing cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Cothren and husband David of Queen City; his father, Vernice Kirkland and wife Traci of Jefferson; five sisters, Jaime Kirkland-Wyatt and husband David of Bloomburg, Morgan Westbrook of Marietta, Joanne Gibson and husband Jonathan of Wake Village, Cindy Jackson of Denver, Colo., and Gretchen Massingill and husband Eric of Atlanta; two brothers, Remington Westbrook of Marietta and Michael Harrist of Atlanta; grandparents, Bernice Addy of Marietta and Ed and Mary Whitlow of Queen City; his best friend, Reggie King of Atlanta; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Hanner Funeral Service
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at First Baptist Church at Family Life Center in Queen City with Bro. Mike Lovely officiating. Interment will be in Queen City Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
