AISD narrowing things down

Atlanta Independent School District (AISD) Superintendent Roger Hailey met with a team from McKinstry and Associates Thursday to see some preliminary figures gathered to assist the District in developing future projects and cost-saving measures for its district.
So far, directives from the superintendent are to focus on projects that will pay for themselves within an average of seven years or less. Hailey expressed special interest in pursuing projects that would relate to lighting and water.
Both types of projects would save money longterm for the district. Along with Hailey, AISD representatives Marilyn Cobb, Sidney Harrist and School Board Trustee Charlotte Stanley attended the meeting as well.
