Sallie Jenell Clubb, 84, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in an Atlanta nursing home.
She was born August 6, 1928. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church and the Phi Sigma Alpha sorority. She enjoyed reading about history and attending Bible study class. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Leslie M. Clubb; her granddaughter, Amie R. Teale; and three older sisters, Voncil Wright, Ruby Foster and Ruth Cross, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Donald Clubb; a daughter, Judy Coolidge and husband Dwight of Atlanta; a brother, Howard Hare of Daphne, Ala.; one grandson, David Clubb of Irving; five great-grandchildren, Xavier, Taylor and Zoe Clubb of Irving and Madison and Jackson Teale of Atlanta.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Roy Thoeny officiating.
