Richardson speaks out about his link to ricin-laced letters
UPDATE
Nathan Richardson met with members of the press this morning at the office of his attorney John Delk in Texarkana.
The 33 year-old, now linked to sending ricin-laced letters to the President and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, was questioned at length by federal agents after his wife reported information that he was responsible for sending the threatening letters. He was never formally charged with any crime concerning the incident, his attorney confirmed.
He and his lawyer, John Delk, told the Citizens Journal that he has been cooperative with the investigation and has freely turned over financial statements, phone records and other information, including computers and electronic devices from his home on Maple Street in New Boston.
His wife, Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson, was arrested June 7 for allegedly sending the letters herself. Shannon is currently still in custody. Her lawyer could not be reached for comment as of this update.
