I Almost Slipped Psalm 73

As we enter into the third division of the Psalms, we find a man by the name of Asaph speaking his heart. He opens Psalm 73 up by highlighting the fact that God is good to His people, more especially those that are pure in heart.
As I read this verse, I came to a premature conclusion by thinking that his opening would carry on throughout the Psalm. I was beyond shocked when I saw that “but” was the first word in the next verse.
