Wagon-loads of fun at Cass County Park

Thanks to a fine turnout from the community and volunteers for Cass County Park’s first-ever “Frontier Days,” visitors will soon see more improvements to the former Moore’s Landing lake recreational area.
The Friends of Cass County Park hosted “Frontier Days” on March 9 and the fundraiser was deemed a great success by the group’s president, Kay Morehead of Bloomburg. The one-day event, which featured a chuck wagon lunch and gospel singing, netted about $700.
