BY TIM EMMONS
Linden-Kildare’s Kick-Start Kids program competed in Dallas on Saturday, March 2, and instructor Jeremy McQuivey said children were well prepared and in top form.
Sophia Wenzel and Jhakyria Jordan placed first in their division, Courtney Givens placed second in her division and third place finishers were Ethan Sherrill, Annmarrie Jones, Kyra McQuivey, Gabe McQuivey, Heather Farmer and Sydnee Robles.
“We had the second highest student attendance of all the schools at the tournament and nine of our students placed in the top three of their division,” McQuivey said.
“I also got compliments from every official person at the tournament on how well-behaved our students were,” McQuivey continued. “The tournament director said he was going to put in his weekly report on how well-behaved our students were.”
