Endsleys’ journey to Texas quite memorable

Among the early settlers of Bloomburg and Miller County,  Ark., are ancestors of one of my Caddo Lake history mentors, Gary Endsley of Atlanta (AHS Class of ’67). I’m more than a little jealous because one of Gary’s great-great-uncles, William F. Endsley, took the time in 1939-40 to write down some of their family history and it’s a fabulous document regarding early Cass County, beginning around the time of the Civil War. Bloomburg!
